Exactly. The laws are already in place. Much like other laws regarding the Internet, the laws mean nothing if they cannot be enforced. Something being illegal, and that same illegality being enforceable are two different things. And let's face it...with all the prisons and the court system as packed as they are, law enforcement is going to look at online gambling as one of their lowest priorities. Have you people run out of things to talk about? No one can restrict the internet. Been tried, been defeated. Think child porno. Banned every where. Rampant on the internet. Gambling banned? Just remember, the story was on See BS .Cracking down on internet gambling won't happen because the Feds have bigger fish to fry and the law would be basically uninforcable and very, very unpopular politically. The Get Bush network is just out to stir something up. OK I read it. It behooves me the way politicians always say that they are doing something for moral reasons when really $ching$ is the bottom line. Foreign online betting sites are making billions from Americans and they want the piece of the pie and hope to scare people like to me to stop, since they can't step on it. (get a cut) I live in a state when being caught with a gambling slip meant a night in jail and a fine. I've never been in jail so I scare easy. (knock on wood)They can't regula... [ More ]
