To deflate the exact numbers in all states draws there looks like there may need to be a limitation on the amount of past draws to deflate.maybe up to 1500 all states past draws in the three game.

Todd I know you have a data base.I was just using MD as a reference. The excel spread sheet for Maryland's complete history of pick 3 and 4 has just passed the 10,000 lines of data point. Multiply that by all the other states complete data and the excel file would be close to a 400,000 lines of data give or take a few thousand lines.As I stated I separated all the pick 4's for MD and made working spread sheets and separated the hits from the no hits. 10 work sheets for the no hits. Lottery Post has a database of every state, going back 8-9 years in many cases. Premium members get full access to that database.

1. Yes2. Yes. There is a program that generates the combos on the fly -- no need for a database.1000 Straight combos COULD be used, but that's just not the way it's programmed right now. That may actually be an interesting addition, because that would show you which box combos are especially cold. I'll keep that feature in mind. Thanks for the input.

Why concentrate on a thousand straight combos, when we can narrow it down to a hundred?Can Todd come up with a deflater for just the back pairs, involving all the tools that exist, for the exception of just narrowing it down to 00 thru 99..(back pairs). Then whatever numbers it spits out, just put 0 thru 9 in front of them.Wouldn't it be easier to track 100 numbers, instead of a thousand? Would it be possible to create a page where you could do the following:List all states Pick 3 and Pick 4 (Similar to the drawing results page)1. check box next to each state Midday and Evening. This gives you the option of selecting what states you want to include. (or leave out)2. Drop Down Box - this is where you would enter the number of days. For example: you could enter 20 (days) and this would give you roughly 1000 previous results of all the states you want to filter in step 1.3.

I just got a good read of this thread. I think it would be a GREAT idea to have the 1000 STR's deflate option!!!I have had fits here trying to come up with a way to easily track/find some sort of logic to get Pick3 straight hits for Idaho and most days NOBODY on LP even gives this place a look. At least with this option I could give it a look for myself. Idaho has a computer draw and won't even show it on TV, said it wasn't cost effective. There are approx. 4000 numbers that haven't hit straight in Md. It was fairly easy to make the list of hits verses non hit numbers.However trying to combine all states hits versus non hits would be huge compared to one tracking just one state.Someone with a complete data base of every state could write a program to sort the data. Todd, Tell me if I understand the way the Deflate tool works, 1.You input your draws and it tells you how many times a certain combo hit boxed. 2.When you Deflate minus the input draws, it tells you which boxes are missing. When option 2 is used, how does the program know which boxes are missing. Do you have a database of the boxed combos, the program pulls from? If so, why can't the database contain all 1000 combos, then when option 2 is used ( Deflate minus input). Wouldn't that tell you, how... [ More ]

A Straight-Deflate (rhymes!) tool would work similarly to the way the current Deflate tool works, except that it would only eliminate and count the number of straight matches, as opposed to the current Deflate tool, which counts the number of box matches.I think Win D is right about the fact that the All States view would be particularly helpful, because it will take a lot of data to generate any interesting results (because of the much fewer number of straight matches).I like the concept of Ti... I don't know if this could ever be a part of this but it's something that was needed in a few instances of tracking. Tracking boxes for unhit 6 way numbers ....you may get back the results thinking it is no longer in play as un hit. Just because it hit as a box.... wrong ... it hit as only one of the six ways... only one. Leaving the other 5 ways open for play consideration. How could we tell which ones have or have not hit.. ? It takes 2.7 years to get all the way through the 1000 chart. .... or in our case about 18 days. 1000/55 = 18 days. From one of your post in this thread Win-D Would it not take longer than that because of repeat numbers? That would be a helpful tool, but I am thinking it might be hard to do keeping in mind the repeats. Or would one be able to get a years data and then deflate or inspect it to get out the repeats? I am not smart enough to work this out.ez

Would like to get some ideas from other experienced members too. This is way to important and don't want to blow a great opportunity to plug in some additional tools for straights. It is really hard to focus on Straights after chasing boxes for so long. To actually be able to go into unfamiliar states and get up to speed so fast is very exciting. Talk about popular all states picks in addition to that. To condense all states data into one Giant Game would really help many many folks. A lot... [ More ]

Wow Todd ! Very exciting to think about tracking Straights. What we have now is more than most ever thought possible. If we could add to it with Straights data that would be some serious tracking for fun and ......profit. It really does seem like the next logical step in our tracking. You don't have to hit too many Straights before your having some real fun.

You can deflate directly from the results page for any game. Just select Deflate from the game's popup menu, and select the amount of time (draws) to deflate.On the issue of straights vs. box combos in deflate, I'm open for suggestions. Keep in mind that deflate itself may not be what you're looking for, because it is sepcifically designed to compress a large set of numbers by filtering and compressing into like combos.We have to think about what exactly you're trying to do with the straights.... How about this? Now we can pull up the page for results and also ask to see the results for that particular day....deflated or inspected. We can do it for Mid and Eve. separate or combined. These results are subtracted from the 220 chart for (one day only) at this time. Having that expanded to more than one day would be great one day. Really great time saver ....smooth. Is there a software that is better tracking Straights than others out there? Think about this for a minute. When we crunch here.... using the deflate and inspect we are actually getting Box information back. Also, consider this. It takes at least 2.7 years of past data to complete a 1000 numbers ... (straights). The subtraction is from a 220 box chart. Imagine if it subtracted from a 1000 numbers chart. Straights would come back. Pure Straights
