My personal opinion about why Ohio got rid of the Super Lotto Plus game is:The format of starting with a $4M jackpot had gotten costly and it just bad advertisement to reduce the jackpot starting size and claim the game has been improved which Ohio makes about every game change. I suspect that once everyone have seen the lousy format of Lot'O Play with a starting jackpot of $1M and $2 ticket price for a while, a 6/49 game with a starting jackpot of $1M and a $1 ticket price will be seen as a im... [ More ]

Wait a minute... I looked at the Ohio Lottery FAQ website about the Lot O'Play(http://www.ohiolottery.com/games/lotoplay/lotolay_qa.html), and it said that We also lowered the odds to win the jackpot by more than half. They were 1 in 14 million in Super Lotto Plus, and are now 1 in 6.3 million with Lot 'O Play. Shouldn't it say that the odds to win the jackpot were raised by more than half? After all, 1 in 6.3 million is greater than 1 in 14 million.

The biggest lottery flop of 2005 has to be Kentucky's Double Up Cash game. It began in April and it was quietly laid to rest by July. It was a computer-drawn game, it was never popular with lottery players in Kentucky, and the KLC obviously wasn't making any any money on it. I'd say those facts make it the top candidate for the 2005 lottery flop title.aye

How do you judge a lottery game flop, by the money it loses or the money its players lose? If people keep playing a lottery game and losing then IMHO it's a success.
