You aren't being old fashioned at all; you're being smart. My wife stayed home with my son until he started school and then found a part time job so she could be home with him when he got home.We really needed the money that she gave up when she quit her job and we went through some pretty tough times financially, but I think her being home for him paid off in spades. My son is now a 20 year old young man who loves the Lord and going to church and has never been in any kind of trouble whatsoever... [ More ]

dirtywrat..hi...no its because I'm a homemaker and yes I would like to at some point in time...but right now my husband feels its better for me to be at home as our daughter is still a little young. Call me old fashioned but I like to be there for her when she gets back from school. I feel its important.

The term desperate was more of sarcastic term, or more a light-hearted one used to describe a dedicated lottery players 'passion' for winning, and wanting to win. However some people are indeed financially desperate, and sometimes in danger of losing even more money than they already have through the lottery.I have overspent many times, but I do know when to stop, even though it is very difficult. Skill in winning a lottery is not necessarily tied into or connected with a certain income level or educational background. A desire to learn about number patterns and how to identify them and willingness to learn all you can while remaining open to others combined with discipline and intuition are probably found in all serious players.

I'm not desperate for a windfall. I do this strictly out of interest; unless spending $4.00 a day on lottery tickets is a sign of desperation. I think smokers spend more than that a day for their vises. I'm sure someday, when I think I have a system that is producing hits, I'll spend a little more. But for now, my money goes into r/c jets; my hobby and passion. It's just too darn cold to fly them now :o( So working numbers in the fall / winter seem to capture my attention. i'm in the 25 to 50 range.......after lottery winnings last year i made right at 30 grand.i won about 7 grand in 2004......for 2005 i've made about 8 to 9 thousand on the lottery.
