Well GameGrl, the state of Delaware doesn't need the Donald Dump, oops Trump to build anything for them since they already have most of the infrastructure already in place (casinos already built). All they have to do is expand them! Delaware caps payouts? on what? their slots? because that's all they have at the moment in a casino. And as far as I know they do nothing of the sort on the slots. They do have harness racing and I don't know about them, so I can't say.

Plus Trump has agreed to place a casino here :)

Delaware has YET to attract a single HIGH rollers style casino. Delaware caps payouts if I recall, will that change too with the new governor?.

Vegas is unlimited as is Atlantic City.

For a brief time, After Atlantic City opened, Delaware had sports betting. For a very brief time. This was in the early 1980's, didn't even last a whole season.

Instead of tapping into a sports wire or a Vegas sports book and getting the actual pointspreads, they had state employees "make the line" on games.

This was in the football season.

Not to be to off topic here. But here in Delaware as soon as our Governor is voted out we will have full out gambling! Yes, that means all table games and sports wagering just like Vegas! That will put a big hole in Pennsylvania and Maryland's plans for putting slots in their states! Why go to those states just to play slots for, when they can come to Delaware and do it all! Slots are my favorite also. I go to Vegas once a year, My favorite is the nickel ones sometimes quarters. Used to go to Biloxi but it is not there any more....at least not like it was before the Hurricane.Ms. Pat

My vote is for the Poker Room. I usually watch lots of Texas Hold 'Em Poker on TV. Also, I just like to watch the people playing all the games, but I have to cut down on gambling.

Of corse with a name like DoubleDown, my favorite should be obvious... Blackjack, baby !!!As far as slots, I like the multipliers like double diamonds and triple diamonds:$5 dollar 2 coin slots as well as $1 dollar 2 coin slots. For fun I like the wheel of fortune slots too. They come in several denominations.Hit an $8600 JP on a $1 dollar 12 times pay machine down in Biloxi a couple of years ago...

There is a nickel game called Stars and Stripes. Dern thing actually cost 2.50$ a pop if you play max bet. I sat and played it for five spins! Walked away from the machine with $300.00 . Only put in 20.00 . Other Slot games are: any that carry the bonus feature-I dream of Jeanie, Wheel of Fortune,Waynes World, and Texas Oil. Vegas is still THE place to play the slots...I've yet to fair as well in NJ or Delaware fo pay outs. And this is playing off the same machines and same coin usage.

I practically made my living on video poker 10 - 12 years ago. There was one machine that paid out slightly higher on a full house but the problem was it was always busy. Drove to the mountain Indian casino many times in the wee hours of the morning to find that machine idle and rake in a house payment, lol. Also, had it down for hitting royals all over the place. Video poker. Only game in the casino where a positive return can be expected if the proper pay table can be located and the cards are played correctly.Heads up poker. You against other players, most of them having no idea how to play or what the odds are and all of you against the casino's rake. But the stud games are dying out in favor of Hold 'Em.

Nice poll.I think if I won a big PB jackpot I'd still have to sometimes spend 15-20 hours at a stretch sitting at third base at a blackjack table now and again. I find the game completely absorbing. If a tornado came along and carried away the whole house, but left a horizontal piece of felt, a stack of chips, a tray and a dealer I'd still be sitting there hoping for a double down hand. You didn't have my choice up so I said slots.I only play Price is Right video slot!!This machine hits like crazy!! I have won over 500 bucks everytime playing it @ Vegas where I started from and in CT Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.If you have this slot play it. It's a loose machine. There is only 2 kinds.
