My hunch is that it will go unclaimed. I haven't seen anything anywhere that even speculates as to who the winner might be. So I suspect that whoever it is doesn't realize that they've won. If on the other hand they've been able to keep a lid on this this thing for a month until they get their ducks in a row...my hat's off to them.Jim

I think it will be claimed before the $36 million jackpot does get expired. However, it will be most likely annunity.

If they do not claim by Friday they will get the annuity. Or the state will get it if no one shows up in the next 10 or 11 months.

On November 2, a ticket from Missouri hit Powerball for $36 million annuity. AFAIK the winner(s) have not come forward. While they have a year to claim the prize, in the next few days they will lose the opportunity to choose the cash value and be forced to receive annuity payments if they do not come forward.
