I'm not sure how you're interpreting it, but Kentucky's web site mentions Lotto South specifically: A change to the Lotto South game is planned for the third quarter of FY 2006... I'm not sure what they mean by change, however I wouldn't think that Kentuck could make a format change the Lotto South game without approval from VA and GA.

Well I think the change Kentucky is mentioning is it's in-state Lucky For Life-type game.

Those two states are pretty much encircled by Powerball states. If they hope to continue it as a multi-state game, they need to have the input of those neighboring states. I would guess that the game probably has to move the weekend drawing to Friday to attract those states. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday might be a viable move for Lotto South
