I was a big fan of Lotto South, but that game is history now. There's no point in crying over spilled milk. I never really cashed a big ticket on Lotto South anyway. My biggest lottery win ever was $1000 on the old 6/42 Lotto Kentucky game. I genuinely look forward to playing the new Win for Life game with its 6/42 matrix and a bonus ball.

Match 6 is not only all cash, but once topped $5,000,000. And it just hit 5 figures again, a strange $200,000 jump at that. You can't go wrong with Match 6, big jackpots, and great odds at getting your money back, if not more.

If annuity and cash is involved, all I want is honesty on how much each option is worth. Advertise the real value (cash) and state you only get the higher value (annuity) if you wait 20 or 30 years. In bold, up front, not on page sixty-four, buried in some table.

Today the GA lottery e-mailed me and told me GA _will_not_ offer a cash option. Either the cash option is up to each state, or it's a false rumor.

I just got off the phone with a representative of the Kentucky Lottery and she told me that Win For Life would be drawn exactly like Lotto South and that tickets will cost $1.00 per play.I would have called GA, but they have that pesky 900 number for out-of-state folks. I did email GLC via their web site to ask those questions - I'll let you know if I receive a reply.

As I've stated numerous times in the forum,* I would much rather see the return of Lotto Georgia in it's original format.You are right about the WFL game being barely better than a 5-number game. I think they should have revitalized Lotto South with a WinFall concept or and all-cash jackpot, maybe bigger lower tier prizes. LS could have held it's own, but has to set itself apart, and the forces that be would rather not give it the chance.

I really liked Lotto South and would drive 2 hours (round trip) from Knoxville, TN to the Kentucky border to buy tickets. The last run went to $27 million which was great, but I could not get multiple draws so I spent a fortune in gas driving back and forth. Now I am sad that it is ending. I can't really get excited about the 140,000,000:1 odds of Powerball. I don't know what Win for Life is but maybe it will be cool. If the game becomes popular, other states may want to offer a lose for life game without a cash option.
