The top prize isn't that high (none of the three states will have a classic lotto game when LS ends), and the cash option is a ripoff-the game will not last as long as LS.

I have a set a reminder on my outlook calendar to buy lotto 5 tickets tonight. The only thing about Lotto 5 is that at 3 draws per week it can get expensive, but that's never stopped me.

Woo Hoo, a $520,000 lump sum (sarcasm). Lotto 5 in TN has paid out twice as much at 1/10th the odds. I will just put away 6 bucks a week until Lotto 5 hits $500,000 or greater and then drop it all. No more trips to KY for me. I am going to save alot of gas.

What happens to the various prize levels when no one wins the grand prize? If the prize stays at a fixed level, I hope each individual state can bring in another pick-6 game that allows for the jackpot to rollover.

I'm sure WFL will be hyped in a glitzy advertising campaign and people will be enticed to play it. They'll probably have very good sales figures at first, but IMHO, I don't think this game will be successful in the long term.I still think that the GLC should bring back Lotto Georgia. If WFL doesn't do well, they may be encouraged to do just that. Time will tell.

The VA lottery site says nothing about a cash option. And there's no mention of whether tickets will cost $1 or $2.

Well I'm sure Cash will feel a little better knowing there's a cash option. And the prize structure is a lot like Tri-State Megabucks (the current one, not the one that's coming). I'm still dissapointed in their decision in not having a rolling jackpot.

hey there sherwin a couple fridays ago i matched 4 of 5 in virginia pick 5 on the prediction board here.the thing i love is you can play for a quarter in virginia.i love their pick 5.also you only have 34 too...in my opinion its the best pick 5 in the nation.in fact besides tennessee its the only pick 5 i post predictions for........

6/42 is only 1 in 5,245,786 where as our PA LFL 6/38 game is 1 in 2,760,681. I'd GO FOR IT as $52k a year is about I guess $38k after taxes, not a bad piece of change. Is it really for life or for only 20 years? Check the fine print, and then SUE WHEN YOU WIN

i agree.....i'm very disapointed but i guess they figured it couldn't compete with the jackpots for mega millions so they fixed it at 1,000 a week for life.personally i think it will bite the dust just like lotto south.lotto south wasn't great but it didn't suck either.it was ok.i'm betting that tennessee doesn't join though because this game will probably be drawn the same time as powerball and thats a conflict of interest......
