I battle that feeling all the time. Because I LOVE to give. In fact, I take 2-3 days out of my week, every week, to donate money, and give my time to the community . Yeah, that's the way to go at it, playing them eve, and midd. How much I bet on each number depends on how many misses the previous number had. It kind of works it's way into my formula that way. But, all in all, I start out betting $3 on each number (sometimes I get a hit the very next day, or the very next drawing, and ofcourse when that happens, the hit is for less money), and I continue to manage my money upwards ( double up every 2-3 misses, or, every 4-5 misses, depending on how many... How often can a root sum predict the exact third digit? I'm open for anything....but, very conservative when it comes to new stuff. I hate to loose money! :) More of a stick to what works / stick to what you know type of guy.
