For NY, you can use these codes for Cashword:$2 - TWO$5 - FIV$10 - TEN$25 - FZM$50 - FTY$100 - HUN$1,000 and $10,000 change, so no set codesFor Cashword Doubler, all of the above plus:$4 - FOR$20 - TWN$200 - AKW$2,000 and $20,000 change, so no set codesThe codes are for the retailer to know how much to pay out should the machine be down. It can't pay prizes over $600 so those letters are not set.

Here in MO. the low winners like you mentioned earlier (two, for,fiv,ten) are all coded easy to figure out, but the real big winners make no sense at all just like the losing tickets. So, here in MO. if you look at the codes first and it makes no sense like T-I-R it is either a losing ticket or a really big winner. Good Luck,Bryan

Yeah I hate those letter codes... Once I knew I won $100 before I even scratched the winning symbol. I saw a H and a U. That gave it away....... Still happy I won

The codes are the reason why I dont play scratch offs in NY or Michigan, because you can basically tell once you see a letter whether you won or not, it takes away from the fun of the game or scratching that last number. Thank God Illinois doesnt have that.

I see. If your State's official site doesn't spell out specifics about the game, then have the cashier check it on the Lottery machine but make sure that you get your ticket back. Tell them you are keeping it for Income Tax purposes (which you should do). Then take it to be checked again elsewhere if you really believe that you have a winner but your not really sure. we'll there is none in particular that i need to know, I was just wondering if there was a list of them which would help me double check my scratchings. Say It looks like a looser and I look at the code to double check then find out its a winner. Cashword and cashword doubler are the games i play mostly. Is it state specific? i live in NYC

Peter, can you post the codes that you don't understand. What you have posted so far looks like the cash prizes that are to be paid off if you match them. I am not familiar with the game so I would need a little more information to answer your question. Or go to your States Official site for an explanation.litebets

Hi, I was just wondering if there is a list for what the 3 letter codes mean on cashword and cashword doubler, I have been playing them lately and sometimes I miss letters and a few times i almost threw out a couple of winners! I know a few of the codes like FOR, FIV, TEN, thats all i really know, Any help is appreciated thanks!! peter
