I know that Visual Basic stores time and date information internally as a number, with the date being the part to the left of the decimal and the time to the right of the decimal.VB has two functions -- DateSerial() and TimeSerial() -- which extract the numeric representations.You may be able to use TimeSerial(), and then create some kind of multiplication formula or something that converts it into the hour.minutes format that you want.

I need to have a formula that converts time. What I mean is, change it to decimals.so for instance I put in 15:30 (hour, min)I want the formula to divide the minutes by 60 and display the decimal version of that.So it would give me 15.5 anyone know? I have been looking, but can't find the answer.
