Super Lotto Plus (and Powerball for that matter) uses a special kind of Gravity Pick machine called a Halogen. Instead of spinning paddles, it uses a fast moving turntable to mix the numbers. And when the ball finds the hole, it is pushed up by a rod as opposed to simply being dropped on the display rack.

It's a gravity machine because the balls fall out of the bottom of the machine, rather than getting blown out of the top of the machine by air. Gravity machines use hard rubber balls, and blown air machines use light ping pong balls.

Something we all try to do!I've had lots of luck with the Abbreviated 2 if 5 of 56 wheel, so if you ever get tired of thinking like a gravity machine, maybe give that one a try. Good luck

Mega Millions is drawn with a gravity pick machine. You can usually tell a gravity pick machine because it has those big arms spinning the balls around. Balls are selected by dropping into a hole in the drum, hence the name gravity pick .
