It is a variation of the old Nigerian scam: The thing they usually do is they require you to give your bank account information and/or ask you to pay fees or taxes associated with collecting the supposed winnings. TAXES ARE ALWAYS DEDUCTED FROM YOUR WINNINGS *BEFORE* YOU RECEIVE A CHECK
