You can do this well or do better every time just by playing all the numbers on the minimum number of lines. A 6/49 game becomes a 6/36 game this way because no more then six lines can have all 6 winning numbers among them. Worry about how you combine your numbers, not picking them.BobP

I realize that, but had we been wheeling we'd have been tapioca long ago.lol and as someone said in another thread, a wheel is only good if the selected numbers hit. We're just recreational players.

All depends how you wheel and how many numbers in the wheel.Lottery Post has filtered wheels.Filter correctly and a win could be possible.

Well, every combination has the same exact odds against hitting as the first combination. Dice have no memory . I realize the more combos you play, the better the chances, but each combination of six numbers reduces the odds( 6/ 52) by 1, so20,358,250 : 1 becomes20,358,249 :1 theorhetically....So even if one had the means to play $1,000,000 worth (and they let them out of the asylum long enough to do so) then they would have taken20,358, 520:1 down to 19,358, 520:1.If someone ever does come... Has to be a message here. three of us usually go partners on Illinois Lottoery and Mega Millions.We're dollar players but if the jackpot is up we go a little more.The Illinois Lottery Jackpot was $20,000,000 so we played $6 worth, i.e., 12 lines of numbers. We hit all six, on separate lines, not only on separate lines but no more than two on any line, so despite hitting all six numbers we didn't win a thing.
