Once in every 25 years would mean once in every 1,300 drawings (25 x 52 drawings/year).

Once in every 1,300 drawings, in turn, would mean that, in any given reset drawing, the probability of 12 consecutive rollovers is .000769(=1/1,300) or roughly .08%.

Looking backwards, which means 'based on the actual ticket sales for the past 11 drawings and the expected ticket sales for this Friday drawing, I see the probability of Euro Millions' 12 consecutive rollovers being just .01%, much lower th... [ More ]

You never know what will happen in Euro Millions if it keeps rolling. However, CA SLP had 20 straight rolls at one time.

According to the national uk lottery site euro millions should have a 12th drawing every 25 years and so the roll-down shouldn't happen often. I don't buy it my self. If it rolls it will be the 13th drawing which would never happen again.While this advent is rare I doubt it would be 25 years before it would occur again.www.national-lottery.co.uk/player/information.do?info=euromillions
