Lotteries should not run their own lottery machines, un-interested 3rd parties should do that, neutral people or services.

I don't trust lotteries doing their own drawings, any more than I trust online casinos.

I have reason to believe that online casinos aren't truly random and that they are rigged to only pay out a certain prize so many times so the payout is exactly 50% or whatever.

The reason we don't like computerized drawings has nothing to do with throwing off patterns or any kind of prediction mumbo-jumbo. We don't like computerized drawings because they're done under closed doors, and even if the person operating the computer is the most honest person ever, he can't see what's going on in the computer and whether or not it's doing what it's supposed to. There's no transparency.

Gravity Machine is not codmanders name for ball machines. It's a particular kind of ball machine. There are two kinds of ball machines, air mix and gravity pick. Air mix involves light ping-pong balls being blown around as is the traditional method. dots n dashs with keno seems to be the way to go ...--..- 12-13-14=dot-22-23=dash etc

seems the pc not only pic single numbers but will pick up rows of numbers where as the gravity machine is a total frustration for me----------------been around

I think the bias against computer (RNG or Random Numeber Generator) drawings has more to do with it having a greater potential for abuse on the part of the lottery commission/workers/government. THey can tinker with it, after all; it's all software and computers. Additionally, RNG drawings are not televised. (what's to televise?) People like to see the mechanical machines spitting out the ping pong balls, although I have no doubt that can also be tinkered with on the part of the PTB.

The biggest problem with computers is that there is no real way to know how their random number is being generated. Online casinos are not to be trusted for the same reasons.

Some time ago I saw an eloquent article of how the online casinos can program their games so that it satisfies "random" legally while at the same time making it next to impossible to beat them for any amount of "real" money. Very much unlike land Casinos.

hi there codmander..Are u new here? If so welcome. Well for one I don't mind computer drawings. I just don't like officials running the lottery cheating. Which I believe IN is doing. I like your name for the ball machines. Gravity machine is a nice way to put it.

I like the challange with those machines. I don't believe the ball machines are harder.

The computers are computers I do it for a living. They are the future for America. No biggie been dealing with them for over 15 years.

I guess a lot of players are againt the computer drawings why does it seem I come closer on games that has COMPUTER drawings?? those dog gone gravity machines are wicked hard to get a beat on with the computer its almost predictalbe once in a great while-----------thoughts
