4 wins of 3 numbers tonight on the western 6 49. once again used the abbreviated 4 if 6 out of 12 wheel. total 40$. incorrect win amount. western pays 10$ for 3 numbers, not 5$ as posted in the prediction winners thread. lots of odd digits coming..last 3 draws...6 odd...6 odd...5 odd. i got 3.. 4 number wins in 2 draws using the wheel. that would never happen buying quick picks!! oh yeah, 14 bonus quick picks..once again....zero..diddly..nada. bring it..whats on tap for saturday

Looking at the payouts for the Canada 6/49 I would not recommend the wheels I mentioned!! The payout for getting 4 correct is only about $75.

But at least I put forward my ideas about wheels! Hopefully they will help people (even in Canada!) to pick a wheel that they like and that works for them.

I would like to put my 2 cents (Canadian?) worth in.

When I predict here on LP, predicting for Pick 5 or Pick 6 I normally use a high guarantee like 5 if 6 for Pick 6 and 4 if 5 for Pick 5. That is only because I'm trying for the big win on Lottery Post! In real life that is not what I play. I like the smaller guarantees. If you have the money, for a Pick 6 you can play a 5if5/14 for 371 tickets or 4if4/19 for 325 tickets. The trick, of c... [ More ]

just finished fiddling around with the wheel. my winners from yesterday could have been a lot more. it depends what order your numbers are put in. 1 ticket would have had 5 numbers..if the numbers were placed differently. i found the taj mahal!!! can i show my ticket here when i win the big one:) how do you do it

wow. best nite so far...check my predictions for western 6 49 sat. feb. 18th. posted 6 lines from abbreviated 12 number wheel...got 1 prize of 4 numbers and 2 prizes of 3 numbers...total 70$. but, yeah i know i didn't post this, anyway, i changed to a 14 number wheel..14 tickets..i hit ...2 prizes of 4..100$ total...and 2 prizes of 3 numbers..20$...120$..cost 14$..not bad. i love these wheels man..it's just a matter of time before the group at work says randy, you pick our numbers for a wheel .... thanks just6..yeah, disregard the last couple questions. like the wheel says...6 out of 12 gets me 4 guarenteed. so thats how i improve my winnings..have to get a couple more numbers..not buy more tickets...

Good job tungsten chief on your good wheel. Keep it up. Normally, when I do a Pick6 wheel, I usually randomize 12 numbers that come out first and then randomize those numbers.

2nd wheel done for last wednesday, i hit 1 number for the western 6 49. tonight, i came back strong!! played the 12 number abbreviated wheel once again and hit 4 out of 12 giving me 2 sets of 3 numbers and 20$. cost of play 6$.

the winning numbers were...8-10-12-22-28-47 . my 2 best tickets were:

9-12-15-22-27-47...3#'s..10$

9-11-12-28-40-47..3#'s..10$

Awesome, I'm glad your first experience was a good one!

I think wheels, whether they're big or small, are the only way to play a lotto game to win. Quick Picks are you're in it to win it , but lacking any kind of strategy (obviously). Playing favorite numbers scattered among different tickets is better than that, but things get good when you place those favorite numbers into a good wheel.

bring it on people!! i'm excited now. i tried my 1st wheel from l p tonite on the western canada 6 49 draw. i used the abbreviated 12 number wheel. had to buy 6 tickets..i got 3 and the bonus(bonus don't count)..won 10$. not much of a profit, but i still won. the quick picks the machine generated weren't even close. would like some thoughts on what's the best way to play wheels. i'm not looking to buy many tickets, maybe max 10 to 12. today i just looked at the last 5 draws and chose some that w...
