For example, my third post down on the link above. Only a few words of the message showed up. John's (jap69) message didn't show up at all. If you look at a lot of the old posts half the words are missing. It's not a big deal. Everything since the change is showing up fine. I assume the words don't show because of the change from the old format. That is all I was saying.

If you count the Pick 5 games. I have hit 4 out of 5 three times before they went computerized. I haven't played more than 2 or 3 times since...I have one on record here from way back.

Some of the post doesn't show because of the changes that Todd made to the forum after that but you get the idea. I posted 4 lines. If I would have wheeled them I would have hit top prize. but hind sight is always 20/20.

Powerball: 3 plus 1 with the other two digits both being off by one and two. What a nightmare.

Lucky for life: 4 of 6 with the remaining two being off by one. Also hit 4 of 6 five times now. I still feel the stress from both. The only thing that could cancel out the long term pain would be a jackpot win to justify it.

In the previous powerball I hit 4 out of 5 and won 400 bucks. Yeah one white ball away from 800,000 bucks.

I don't do quick pic, I chose the numbers. 50 % of the time I get my money back by hiting 3 out of 5

4 out of 5 plus the powerball number $10,000 total. It was a two person ticket. We both got $3500 after taxes. This was just recently FEb 8, 2006 powerball.

Hit 3 plus PB about a year ago.

My favorite is the folks who say I was just few numbers away! I just smile and say yeah ..we are all a dollar away from playing and millions away from winning.

We try to simplify the fact that with less then 60 balls in a canister we should surely hit some of them! Twice I picked all the numbers and both times didn't buy the ticket. Once I picked all the numbers but the bonus ball and did not buy a ticket. And numerous times I have had the 4 numbers, fortunately I did buy the tickets most of those times. Yeah, I know....can't win if you don't play. sigh.

The Ohio 640 game had 280 drawings starting 04/09/83 and ending 04/18/87 and Buckeye5 started 04/06/93 and ended 10/02/04 after 2,723 drawings. I tracked and played those games as well as the 644 and 647 versions. I also played the 654 version that was 50 cent a play before the word Super was added and the price changed to $1.00 a play.

Well, I guess it was Ohio Super Lotto then! It was 6 of 40 with no bonus ball. Ohio only offered this game for about a year, and Ohio Buckeye 5 was introduced about the same time it ended.

Super Lotto became Super Lotto Plus went the bonus number was added. I don't remember any versions of the Super Lotto game having a bonus number added other than the last 6/49 version.

Hit 5 of 6 in the Ohio Super Lotto Plus when the matrix was 6 of 40, quite a while back. Quit playing Super Lotto Plus when Ohio Buckeye 5 arrived and hit 4 of 5 twice. Only put money on Buckeye 5 and now Ohio's Rolling Cash 5 with the exception of Mega Millions occasionally when the jackpot gets large.

Some years back I hit 5 of 6 in the Ohio Super Lotto Plus on a $10 ticket. Afterward I continually tried to repeat that feat until the game ended last year, I thought my system had worked but now I know it was just luck. So far I have not been that lucky in any other games I've played since.

i hit 5 out of 6 in canada's 6 49 lotto in 1989. i had a dream . the numbers were..9..17..36..42..44..and 46. it took about a year or so till the numbers showed up. won close to 1900$. i think, but i might be wrong(yeah, lets hope i'm wrong), that was my 1 opportunity to win it all. you don't get many close calls on winning the big one. hit 5 numbers on super 7 about 4 times..average payout 150$. we have a group of 15 at work, been playing for more than 10 years. the most we got was 4 numbers. l... When you say 5 of 5 here, i am assuming that includes Jersey Cash 5, not just Mega Millions.

On MM I have gotten recently on one particular drawing: 3+1, 2+1, 1+1 and 0+1.

missing by one digit is like saying that SD (South Dakota) and SC (South Carolina) are next to each other because they are one letter off .

My vote is never more than 3 numbers if you're talking about real money. The most I ever won was $23 in 2001 when I matched one 3+0 for $11 and one 2+1 for $12. If the question was about fantasy picks, I would have gotten 4+0 as my best in 2005 [would be my vote].

I hit 4 out of 6 in the Powerball drawing about a year and a half ago. All white balls. Missed the Powerball number and the other white ball by one digit each. At the time the Jackpot was 93 million dollars. So close, but yet so far away.

Best I've done on Powerball is 3 numbers or 2 and a Powerball. I did hit 4 out of 6 on Louisiana Lotto a couple of times though. Close, just not close enough.
