My retired mother fell for this scam also, They are very convincing and is very well set up to make everything sound legal and professional. But, you should never send anybody money to cover any taxes or anything else. Tell them to take it out of the winnings and send you the rest.

Lesson 3, if you didn't buy a ticket, you didn't play and also of course you didn't win.

Lesson 4, if they want you to send them money you didn't win anything, but you are about to lose much money.
