Of course! EVERYONE should believe that they could win! Otherwise purchasing a ticket would be a mute point. Yes, the odds of you winning are tremendous but if you didn't think that you did not have a chance of winning you would not purchase a ticket (I hope.) If you didn't think that you could win you wouldn't check your numbers. The one thing that ALL winners have in common is:

Here is how I look at it. Some people spend money almost weekly on going to movies, buying DVDs, golfing, or tickets to concerts or athletic events. I spend money on none of those. Some people spend 20 hours or more weekly watching TV. I might spend one hour a month. So if I want to spend five or ten bucks a week on lottery tickets and an hour now and then thinking what I'd do with all that money should I win, that's my form of entertainment.

You're too young to give up - on anything. Experience a lot more of life before you give up. The lottery doesn't make guarentees, it provides challenges. It you like it, turn it into fun. Then maybe lady luck will look kindly on you.

I plug away at studying numbers and developing systems as a hobby. I don't know that I'll ever win, but I DO hope I will. I am one of those people that doesn't have luck . I do not believe I will ever just pick up a quickpick and win like that. It happens to the select few, but after 37 years, I know luck isn't on my side with regards to gambling (it does have it's benefits knowing that tho, I hardly spend much money at all on the lottery, and I never went inside of a casino ;-) ).

For me,when money is involved, especially MY MONEY, it is always about the winning . I can have fun doing it, but the money is the bottom line. I bet $1 (+PP) on ALL PB draws regardless of pot size and $1 on ALL MM draws. (if the other IGNORANT MM states would learn from the TX example; I would gladly add $1 for megaplier !!!)

I choose my own numbers (NO QP) and play the same EACH and EVERY draw on BOTH PB MM.

I don't think, I know I will win. That being said, many have won the jackpot who did not think they ever would win, some even forgot they played. So even if you do not think you will win you still can. Many people have won who forgot they even bought a ticket.

Being totally honest...sometimes I absolutely believe I'll win and sometimes I'm completely convinced I'll never win. I play for every Powerball draw regardless of size because I believe I have a chance to win. No that I will win...but that I have a chance to win.

I also play Powerplay every time because I think the chances of getting 5 numbers is much better than winning a state lottery (1 : 3,563,609 isn't that bad by lottery standards) and would still be a significant chunck of change... [ More ]

I doubt it, but with the way my fiance I get 3-4 #'s so frequesntly, I imagine we can. We would not play if we did not have hope. But you have to remember..just think of all the times the people who actually had won..told themselves there never gonna win, or have people tell them..why play..your never going to win....
