This win for life takes over where Lotto South ends in Va that I know of. If you win it's only 1000 a week for life.

Never bought a win for life scratch off, and probably never will. What is it, three winners out of a zillion tickets; then yoiu have to take the annuity. That's like buying a used car on Main Street.

If I go through VA this summer (it's either Cumberland Gap or Quebec), I'll be playing. More precisely, I'll be playing each of my plays twice (for a $73,000/year after tax yearly payout). But I will miss Lotto South, I wish they would've implemented my SUPER Lotto South format, but Win For Life will have the same basic prize structure as SLS (3-6 wins, 2-5 + bonus wins too), so I guess they read my mind.

How could you hate Lotto South? IMO the matrix is too small, but, LS is a far better game than Lose for Life (even if KY and VA offer a $520,000 cash option, which GA won't).

I'll play because the game is there. I'm a little more open minded with these games. I know it stinks for older generations not having a Cash Option for a top prize; however, I like the odds and it might be fun to try. Also... Since I'm young the win for life is very appealing.

I voted "no." I agree that WFL is another step backwards. Especially with no Cash Option (at least that's what's been reported for Georgia).

I have a feeling that this will come full circle and once WFL starts to fail, Lotto Georgia will be reinstated in it's original format.

Before I found out about WFL replacing Lotto South, I had considered writing to the GLC to try to encourage them to reinstate Lotto Georgia as Lotto South's replacement. However, I'm sure that they'll be all wrap... [ More ]

I put not sure yet as I'm thinking it doesnt sound like much of a payout. I may not be around for long the way people drive around here so I wouldnt see much of it. Last night there were about 7 shots went off in the street in front of my house which didnt make me feel too safe in that way. Big house in a nice sought after area with gunshots going off ? Got me puzzled. I'd rather see Lotto South stay.
