Very true, the rich go out of their way to find unique ways to kill or maim themselves. The nice thing about renting - no commitment. Get tired of something, move on to the next page on luxury.com! Break it, turn it in and get another one. Get divorced, nothing to lose that means something to you.

No yacht, no private plane, no luxury car for me when I win the big jackpot. My house would be limited to one about $500,000 in value (today's prices). I'd still live in sweatshirts and jeans and wear no make-up. I might get my hair done more than a couple of times a year, though.

All this talk about big jackpots, yachts and hired security guards has got me thinking. I wonder how much it would cost to buy an old mothballed battleship from the U.S. Navy? I think the U.S.S Iowa is available.

Do you want a jet you have to crawl around in, or one you can stand up in? Do you want one that can fly non-stop from New York to Las Vegas? I would never be extravagant, although a 50 foot sailboat sounds nice. Maybe there's something wrong with me, but in my past I knew a lot of wealthy people and it never excited me. Anyway, a large yacht isn't a big turn-on if the guy has a little dinghy. (especially an inflatable one)
