However without money none of us would exist. Someone has to pay for the food, shelter, and other life necessities. Whether it be us, or someone else. So having a huge sum of money cannot hurt any, and in fact would actually create more opportunities at better health, providing the person with the money has the intelligence to make the right decisions.

You've got a good point there; BUT it might be the family and the health that making you need the money. And Emily, some families are just 'family' due to a biological phenonemon.

Money is money. It is nothing more. YOU will be happier, or not, with or without it. My best friends are just above the poverty level, and I know of no one happier - or more in love. They ran away and married at 16, now in their late 60's, they are the people commercials are made of.

Having said that, I will improve their lifestyle a million-fold - when I win tonight

Money can provide almost anything in the right hands. In fact infinite financial freedom would allow me to be more happy than I ever have been to date. Sure money is not everything, but it sure can not hurt if you know how to utilize it to make your life very comfortable. It is merely tool, and a stepping stone to happiness...but not necessarily a prerequisite.
