Yeah, I have now that you mention it. I have certain things that I do:

I have lost a $11,000,000.00 lottery jackpot and a $3,000.00 + dog race---I had figured the trifecta or whatever it was called by reading the previous races and dogs!------- because I let someone in my family persuade me NOT to play. From that, I learned; don't go against your gut instinct, just DoN't, dOn'T, D-O-N-T, DONT'T.When the gut says play at a certain retailer, I follow the lead and usually win a little, sum,... [ More ]

Doesn't your lottery allow you to mark two numbers and allow Quick Pick to select the rest? Mark several tickets that way, any time your two numbers come in the odds are pretty good of a #3 win at least. BobP

No superstitions other than continuing to want to play the same two numbers I heard spoken when I was falling asleep about 20 years ago, both of which were picked in the next drawing after hearing them. Most of the intervening years I have not played lotto at all or just used quick pick, but whenever I do choose my own numbers, I always seem to go back to including those two.

As silly as it sounds there are a few places where I just can't hit anything no matter what I get there, scratcher on up. also, I live in Illinois but seem to be a lot luckier with the Missouri lottery games. No big wins, just luckier.

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else has lottery superstitions like buying tickets at the same location, waiting for a particular time or if you have invested the time in analyzing the numbers do you feel a compulsion to play or can you just play on paper? I feel the compulsion to play. If I ever wrote the numbers down and did not play, and they came in, I would be bald the next day! Not that being bald is a bad thing, just not flattering to most women. Another question - if
