I power'd up for 4 of my qp's and allowed the other 4 tickets to be straight up. Will be interesting to see which tickets hit any numbers.

The SC home page said it's 57 million to 1 to hit 10x spot for $2 million I'm in FOR the 8 draws

I was refering to a state option. Where you can go with the promotion, or opt out; depending on the Lottery Director. Either way, it looks nice. Between it and that raffle thing PA did last december, things could get exciting during repeats.

According to the CT lottery news book they put out in stores. The powerball 10x bonus will start March 4th...why not the 1st is beyond me. LOL

It ends on March 29th 2006 but will continue if no 10x appears in the 8wks.

I have found no information on this either except in the lottery monthly booklet that CT has.

I think this is a great idea for them to do. We need more bonus's so the people that don't hit above 3 numbers can rank in some money also.

Maybe I will play 50 tickets power played, all the same power ball number. Then if I hit the 10x, and the powerball, that would be $1,500

Powerball does have the 10x slot in effect now, but for some weird reason, the Powerball.com website doesn't mention it. Only eleven state lottery websites mention it at all.

Weshar75 is correct. I work for a retailer that sells lottery in Indiana and a 10 X's multiplier for Powerball is indeed available in the month of March. One of the multiplier slots...(I don't know which one but I think it is a 5 X's slot since there are 2)...has been replaced by a 10 X's slot for the month of March. If I remember correctly the promo flier I read said it would be available all month and if if it isn't drawn in the month of March then it will remain available until it is drawn... [ More ]

This Saturday will be my first time PowerPlaying since Ragbrai 2004 (which was the only time I've ever PowerPlayed before)!! I will also PowerPlay on Saturday, March 18, and if 10x is not hit and I actually win a prize from Powerball during March, I'll continue PowerPlaying on alternate weekends until 10x is hit assuming the PB jackpot has not reached $250 million.

when does this start? can't wait, just seems like mega crap gives 2 bucks again and again. powerball at least gives you something. i thought it was sometime in March. Thanx for any info.
