If you're talking about a million dollars cash after taxes (not the jackpot) that's still quite a bit of money for a family. I agree that it would be better to have $10M with a family, so each child can go to any college, have a nice wedding, etc., but most people today can't even afford to put money away in a retirement fund. My vote is for my in state lotto game in California particularly CA SLP. If I win a CA SLP jackpot, I would take lump sum. We don't know about my future or my family's future. If we win, I can finish school easily. Also, we would buy a house and car for sure.

A nice state lottery, maybe Missouri, of 2-10 million on a day when Mega Millions or Powerball was way up there and got hit and that got all the attention. I think Mizzou lets you stay anonymous.

I would say Euro Millions in UK if I am forced to choose one.

As far as I know, there are few jackpot games that offer as much reset (baseline) jackpot amount as Euro Millions does: usually $18M cash. After several rollovers, however, I wouldn't care much: either one of MM, PB, EM, or even state lottos might attract me to play.

I wouldn't care if it were a local church raffle. I just want to win something one of these days! I remember when I was 12 I won a dance contest at a Bar Mitzvah. The prize was a 45. (For those of you from the CD generation, I'm talking about a record, not a gun.) It was Mickey's Monkey by the Miracles and the song I danced to was My Boyfriend's Back. MUSL is run by idiots. I would hope not. Odds are they would have a cap and a terrible annuity just like Powerball. I'd be happy winning the WA state lottery now that it's approaching 11 million. You take what you can get. I'd like to win much more but 11 would be very nice.

I could care less about the game itself, I care about the best payout, and the best odds of winning. Why would I care what the game is? I prefer anything $1,000,000 and up so that I am able to live off of the interest comfortably. Powerball tops my list because of the payout, but I will take a lower JP of course.
