Tried it in Feb. and it was dead. Now it works in part. The Lottery results link doesn't go anywhere but the latest discussion link is very slick. Needed to see if there was a winner in the Powerball in Feb. Luckily www.usamega.com always works well.

Tested on Windows mobile 5, pocket internet explorer 4. Sprint 6700. It could be the asp page has java calls and java isn't working. Might try Netfront 3.3 since it's supposed to be WM 5 compatable.

Yup, that's one of the problems I keep having too. One evening I just threw my hands in the air when I couldn't locate enough documentation to help track down the problem.

Eventually I will revisit it.

Understood. For what it's worth, it loads pretty darn quick at 56k. Now that I have broadband, it's almost instantaneous.

It is so much harder to develop for mobile browsers because the development tools are nowhere near as good as for regular web programming.

I feel like my hands are really tied behind my back when I work on it -- very frustrating.

Sure thing. If you can make it so the user can scroll through a couple pages of posts, that would be great.

I actually use a program called picsel browzer that allows me to view the site as one would see it from a desktop / laptop. I can zoom in and out, pan left, right, up or down with a tap of the stylus.

That's pretty cool that you stumbled on that!

I have been fooling around with creating a mobile version of the site for a few months now, whenever I get a chance.

It's far from perfect, but eventually I hope to have a pretty good mobile version.

The results aren't really there yet, but it does show the last 20 posts or so.

I have a PDA phone (Samsung i730). It's a cell phone / pda all in one. It's basically has everything a laptop does plus a phone. I log onto the lottery sites and LP when I'm away from my home office or work to check numbers, etc.

Fooling around with my PDA phone today, I noticed lotterypost comes up as lotterypost.com/mobile. It's a condensed version of the site where you can view the latest results and the latest posts. You can even scroll through the various forums. However, I noticed it does not allow you to surf through all the pages on the forum; only the first 10 or so.

Just wondering if anyone else uses their PDA to access this site and if they see the same thing I do.
