I say boycott the MA lottery because of this, or at least thursday's drawing of cash winfall. They obviously did this on purpose. The lottery's profit is about $100k on most drawings, but it's close to $1m when they predict a winfall. Now they get $1m profit in back-to-back drawings????? Well wasn't it lucky for them that they overestimated the jackpot!!!

At the last minute I changed my mind and did not go. Ca$h WinFall is such a great game, I hope the false alarm doesn't hurt future sales. I still would rather play CW than Megabucks

infortunately they can, since they staten that their jackpot amounts are estimates based on sales, and that may not be what they really pay out to a jackpot-winning ticket.

Ok this would tick me off.

They estimated the jackpot to be $2,000,000 for tonights drawing. Everyone goes out and buys tickets because they assume there will be a winfall.

Well guess what Thursday's jackpot is. $2,000,000 still. What BS is that?

According to their website the top prize was only $1,973,961 for tonights drawing.

Are they allowed to do that. That is a load of crap. The jackpot was only $25,000 away from $2,000,000 so they don't have a winfall. That is kind of che... [ More ]
