Yes one thing is for certain, the lottery is definitely making a living off of us. Even when I win a good sized amount, the temptation to reinvest it for a chance at a larger prize is almost too great. Therefore any small winnings will gradually deplete over time, and end right back in the lottery officials pockets, or other lucky winner's pockets.

A living? Harldy. If one has that much money to be investing in the lottery on a daily basis, they do not even need to play. No one is picking magical numbers on a daily basis, usually good returns require a lot of plays, and wheeling.

So basically you are always just under breaking even if anything. Spend $200 a week, get an average return of $50-75 if you are lucky. But if you only buy one ticket a month, and that one ticket hits for $2500 each month, now that is making a living.

There are MANY people who consistently make a living from the Lottery every month for many consecutive years! They are each state's Lottery Director and other Lottery employees...

I dont know of anyone making a living out of what I play , (pick 3) but it gives me spending money and I even pay for things like Car parts or service, a night out , and also the next lottery ticket I may buy. I play it more to see if I can get it than the money. I do predict the numbers and I try to keep it down to about 10 numbers although I have put Key numbers on here for say the number 5. I know some people retire when they win a big prize but does anyone know of anyone who wins every month or so and this IS their living? Just curious if this is possible without counting on ONE big win which may or may not ever happen?
