Yes, but your problem is that you are the only one boycotting them. You need to get more people to boycott them for your plan to work.

I feel the best way to get lotteries to change their ways is to call for a boycott of annuity-only prizes and lifetime payouts without cash options. Lotteries seem reluctant to make changes unless sales drop.

Listen. It's one thing if you don't like annuity-only scratch-off tickets, but complaining about them will get you nowhere. Have you tried talking to the lotteries and asking them to consider offering cash options to their scratch-off games? Seriously, if you don't do anything to try to change the way things are run, then how do you expect them to change? Do you really expect someone else to push for it for you? A lot of people would take a million dollars regardless of how they get it.... [ More ]

Yeah, I know they broke the curse . I'm thinking the curse might reappear and transfer itself to the lottery tickets with a Red Sox logo.

You mean the Megabucks curse, since it's still annuity-only. The Red Sox won in 2004.

The Red Sox logo will appear on a $5 MA scratch game. The top prize will be a million dollars, which almost certainly will be annuity-only.
