It's not the first time Mega Millions has had two consecutive $200+ million jackpots. They did back in November 2005, when it hit $315 million, and on the run before that, it hit $250 million. This is, however, the first time Powerball had two consecutive $200+ million jackpots, and also the first time Powerball had three consecutive $100+ million jackpots.

Wow get this, Powerball, Mega Million and Texas Two Step all hit a new record. With Powerball and Mega Million it's the first time the two consecutive jackpots have surpassed $200 million. And it s the first time the Texas Two Step has reached $2 million. Like the old saying goes When It Rains, It Pours .
