Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that a wild ball, when drawn, would practically guarantee a jackpot win every time, so I don't see that happening. If the jackpot gets won too often, like it did in winter of 2005, sales tank, as it appears PB/MM players would rather dream about winning than actually win.

An extra white ball would give all the 4 of 5 winners one more shot at 5 + 0 but there would have to be an extra prize for 5 of 5 plus extra. Overall the extra white ball seems like a good idea to me.

It's a good idea especially if they have 0 and/or 00 as the bonus ball. Most quick picks will have numbers ranging from 1 to the maximum number. With this idea, if 0 or 00 come out as bonus, it will roll no matter what.

How bout a wild ball added to the white balls an if it is drawn you can plug into any nonmatched number on an individual playline? so say you mathced two white balls and the wild ball is drawn that would make it three matched and increase you prize amount. What ya think

Yeah, the rollover ball is bad because it blocks a bunch of prizes from being won. Yes, the $200000 tickets cannot be jackpots, but then the $10000 prize cannot be won either and neither can a $7 ticket win $100 instead or a ticket that would win nothing win $3, $4, or $7. Powerball isn't an all or nothing game.

I would like that idea under one condition... Well, maybe two conditions...

The roll-over ball has to be in the powerball hopper and when the roll-over ball comes up, all of the non-powerplay tickets automatically become powerplay tickets.

Just wondering about the rollover ball idea. Balls could be labelled Rollover instead of a marked number on Powerballs/Megaballs. Not on the white balls.

Players could still win a 5+0 but not the prize if a rollover ball was drawn. The idea is the ball marked rollover isn't covered by a playslip or a quickpick. If drawn the prize automatically rolls over and the jackpot increases. While it might really aggravate players who win a 5+0 on that drawing and might alienate players

I was... [ More ]
