I'm honing in on everytime . In both examples it happened, but not everytime.

I still think tntea was referring to only pick 3.

that a look at the pick4 i post i just pick a year which is 1995 everytime a zero fell doubles follow either the next day or in a couple of days my question is which double should you play when a zero is in the number

where lottery is concerned 0 is even.

most often it's a reference point. like in mechanical drawings it is usually the start point where all the dimensions take off from.

You could always find out more about zero on wikipedia. Zero is an even number since 0=2x0 and 0+1 is an odd number. All even numbers have 2xm where m is a whole number. Arabs invented the zero after the Roman empire fell. For pick 3/4 games it's just another digit.

Roman numerals do not have a zero.

Why do we need a zero?

a zero is nothing. It is only a symbol to represent what the creator of the zero in the numerical system wanted it to represent.

Add up 5 zeros you still get nothing.

Why wasnt the letter x used to represent what the 0 represents

I think it's neither, but considered even for balance , like Raven62's example.

2 4 6 8 0

without the zero there's a skewed propnderence

(Of course we're talking pick 3 and pick 4 here
