Thank you for your formula Winsumloosesum. But the formula that I gave works Simply. I choose the fewer lines because after working in Education for 15 years I've learned that anytime you are dealing with the public, write simple instuctions that the average never heard of it before person can understand, or the phone will be ringing off the hook. Excel Set-Up Steps

1. In Cell A2 type in the Text The Numbers

2. In Cell A4 type in the Text The Mirrors

3. In Cell A6 type in the Text The Totals

4. In Cell A8 type in the Text Totals to Mirrors

5. In Cell B1 type in the Text P1 (Position 1)

6. In Cell C1 type in the text P2 (Position 2)

7. In Cell D1 type in the text P3 (Position 3)

8. In Cell B2 enter a 7

9. In Cell C2 enter a 5

10. In Cell D2 enter a 0

Because they do the same thing but from different cells. Make sure when you do the total for the original number that it is referencing that cell and when you do the total to the mirror it is referencing the mirror cell. Some numbers the mirror and the totals are the same.

Why is the Total, and the Total to the Mirror, the same formulas? When I put this in an Excel sheet, I get the same results for both.

But if you do only the mirror it gets you only half way there. You need to do the total, and the total to the mirror to see all sides. When you see a number actually it is 4 numbers at each end of the scale and have 19 numbers contained within it. It's lottery math.
