The PB in Powerball and MB in Mega Millions always have a different number in each draw. Therefore, the chances of hitting the same bonus ball twice in a row isn't likely. That's why I think that if they include the bonus ball to win a jackpot, they must have at least 45+ WBs. Washington had a bonus ball lotto game of 5/43+1/23 from May 2002 to October 2003. Yeah, Powerball and Mega Millions can't have opening cash jackpots of around $7 million if they didn't have such astronomical odds. A guaranteed $7 million cash jackpot with odds of, say, 18 million to one, would put many lotteries in the red, and you can't win a bankrupt lottery.

Ohio has MegaMillions 5/56 + 1/46 and Rolling Cash5 5/39 (5/56-17) and RC5 jackpots will probably never be $1M let alone $200M+. People who want a game with less numbers have to be willing to play for smaller jackpots and they can in most states. No 5/40 or smaller game is ever going to have a starting jackpot of $12M and boycotting every lottery game isn't going to change that fact.

If everyone who played PowerRip and MegaRip boycotted buying tickets and demanded that the number field be reduced by 15 numbers, how could they make any money with nobody buying any tickets?

It's very hard to guess too. That's why I always select cold PB and WBs to see if that number is hit.

Hot and cold numbers are always hard to guess. I got burned on a cold number in Euromillions. You only know the right numbers after the drawing.

these sure are hot numbers (#1 and #2 over last 100 draws)

IMO the end of the hot numbers

but im predicting its time to start playing the cold powerballs
