I've been using the free version of analysis lotto for about 2 weeks now and did ok the first week but now I can't even get one number. I tried a couple of methods and trying others. One didn't work 2 bad with megamillions it actually gave me all the drawing number repeatedly but all in different lines. One I got the mega ball and 2 white balls. It worked using the filter box. Im trying this method on others one lets see what happens.

Pac,

since you do your workouts by hand (or so it seems), you would most likely pick a key number. Your deltas would then represent the distance between that number and its neighbors. This is not to say that you can only do that with deltas, but it is what you can do in a reasonable amount of time on paper.

Lets say you REALLY liked #22. You make it your center number (or wherever).

You then add 2, for #24 and then add 8 more for #32

Subtract 14 (a big delta) from 22 for #8

Sub... [ More ]

Well you're exactly the type of person I want to attract, because the long method...........takes too long for uncomputerized people like me...LOL

An expert in statistical data, common sense, and some luck. I can see that in the way you write, you're more knowledgeable on that stuff. I just can't keep up.

To tell you the truth, I haven't the foggiest, what to do with those Deltas and Omegas, and Triads......

It just looks interesting, when the subject of the number 1 which keeps creepin... [ More ]

pacattack05 -

Actually, my post was FYI. Do with the data what you wish. I was just curious about your post and, since I had the 6/49 program in place, modded it to extract deltas.

I would assume that, over the long run, the probabilities would dictate that the deltas would more or less conform to the data model.

You're quite welcome - my pleasure.

gl

j

I have tried the gaps method with Fantasy 5 and California's Super Lotto Plus. I designed spreadsheets that would figure the gaps between position 1 and position 2, etc. Then it would take the last 50 draws and use those gaps to add numbers to the last draw. I was not successful and I tried it for a couple of months. I'm not saying someone won't find a way to win with it, but I didn't!!

I have also tried this (in a way) with pick 3. I used the last 30 draws and my spreadsheet kept track... [ More ]

What you refer to as delta (the different between adjacent numbers) is called gap in some lottery programs. I usually limit the gaps in my MegaMillions predictions to 22 since 73% of the winning combinations have had gaps no bigger than 22. While 50% of all gaps in MM winnings combinations are 8 or less, only 2% of those combination have had only gaps of 8 or less. I think several LP members have started threads about this subject before but used a different term to describe it. Good luck to... [ More ]

So you are saying that it's a waste of time? Or is there a way to utilize this, considering the Delta number 1 comes out the majority of the time?

Thanx for the info.

In a 6/49 lottery there are 13,983,816 possibilities. Since there are six numbers drawn you would have five deltas for each draw, a total of 69,919,080 deltas.

Here's an amazing, FREE lotto system - for playing and winning lotto or keno.

It's based on a remarkable mathematical fact about lotto numbers and keno numbers. After you read it, you'll never look at the lottery the old way again !

Let me ask you a question. Which bet would you rather take:

-guessing six lotto numbers between 1 and 50 ?

or

-guessing six lotto numbers between 1 and 15 ?

Incredible as it seems, most WINNING LOTTO NUMBERS can be mathematically represented as... [ More ]
