I remember the tv series Lottery I even taped a few of them.

I have them on beta tapes somewhere. Back in the day, it was

beta or vhs. Talk about long ago.

I've watched way too much tv in my life but I never heard of that show.

How about THE MILLIONAIRE? I really liked that show. In fact, it's really very similar to a show about people winning the lottery, because all of a sudden these people had a tax free check for a million dollars. It was started as a game see how the money saved or ruined their lives. This show aired in 1955.

Nothing really has changed, has it

You read my mind. That is probably the only reason I will watch. Does anyone remember a few years ago maybe 10 or more the National Examiner posted these lottery numbers that a psychic predicted would win.

I played those numbers for about a week and then gave up. Some people played those numbers for about 2 months and they did eventually hit, there were I believe 19 winners who each won about 20,000? Was anyone here one of those winners?

I remember the TV show Lottery What I remember most is an episode of a factory worker winning the Lottery and then buying the factory and firing his boss

His boss was an ahole anyway

i'll watch it just to see what its like.if i don't like it i won't watch it again.i think it will be an ok show.i'm not going into this thinking its going to be great.i'm sure it will be an entertaining little show.you know i think its strange that there has never been a biography or life story written by a jackpot winner about how their life changed.maybe there has and i don't know about it.if there is let me know.....

I understand justxploring. Not everyone is going to like it. In a way, it has a soap opera feel about it, but that is the point. It isn't a reality show. There has to be drama and unreal types situations. If people believe what they see on a fictional television show...well they probably need some help. I think it looks interesting, but I guess I'll have to wait and see if it is bad or not.

I guess I have an entirely different feeling about this show. I saw the commercial and thought Yuck, what a stupid idea for a show. The media can't seem to find enough real life stories and people are sick of being stalked by reporters, so now they need to come up with a soap opera about people whose lives are turned upside down by winning the lottery. would love to see the commercials. not a big nbc fan except for law and order. i will just have to watch this conversation stream for when it gets close to the start date. i will check tivo again to see if it is listed so i can catch an episode on tv. even if it is a real bad show i can probably stomach 2 or 3 shows.

Yep, I'm thinking that that guy will be one of the first to go broke. Also didn't the commercials say that 20 friends won the jackpot or something? That's a lot of people sharing one jackpot. I'll have to catch it again. Although it won't be too hard because NBC has been showing the commercials a lot

I can tell you at least one of the characters who is gonna be broke......It is the guy who said I am gonna step out for awhile and buy me a football team...Is there anything you want me to pick up for you while I am out?

The guy only won $20mil....I don't think he has grasped the scale as to what 20mil is gonna buy.
