Drop down menu is fine for the GA. Eve but when you click on GA. Midday......nada.... nothing drops down. No past results

For about the last 1 or 2 weeks when you go to the RESULTS page say for GA. and click on Eve ...then Menu the past 10 results it works just fine.

When you slide down to the Ga. Midday results and click there it will not give the Menu page drop down....so you can't get those results .The hand appears....but then goes back to just an arrow. A couple times the refresh bar helped ....but not any more.

Thanks. I think there may be a bug someplace with the page redirects, but unfortunately I think it may have to do with an Internet Explorer bug in version 6.0. I have been doing a lot testing in IE7, and I'm not seeing any problems, but when I shift back to IE6 it happens sometimes. I will keep trying to see what I can do to get around the bug.

If this error occured on a page that was previously working, it is possible that we are performing maintenance, and the page should be back to normal soon.

That message only shows up when JavaScript is disabled. In techie speak there is a <noscript> tag on the page, and a web browser will only show what is inside that tag if javascript is disabled. That message you're seeing is what's in the <noscript> tag, so your web browser is telling you that it's disabled.

Are you still having the problem?

It looks like you're using IE 6.0, which is good, so I'm not sure. Have you made sure you've applied all the latest service packs/bug fixes? Try going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and do an express update to see if your computer needs any patches.

Everything on that site is safe, and anything that is shown under Express Update should always be installed.

I'm not having any problems. I think you're having the problem because I updated the popup menus last night, and your computer is still using the old menu. Try clearing your cache, and then try again. (In Microsoft IE, you clear the cache by selecting Internet Options from the Tools menu, then clicking Delete Files...

The only problem that I have is, everytime I come to the forum after a few minutes I get a message Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to restart. Just some tweaking that I'm doing right now. Strange that you posted this right now, because I just (three minutes ago) finished coding a big performance tweak, so things should be a bit faster now.

It's very common for new code -- especially something as huge as what I've just implemented -- to take a little while to settle in as small adjustments are found and made.

I think I'll remove it just for good measure. Infact, I've had more problems than the ones I mentioned, and not just on the LP.

About a year ago I accidently messed up some of the registry components. That's why I get error messages upon loading.

I do have high praise for IE7, and I has a tough time using IE6 now, but because IE7 is not a finished product, I can't recommend it for people who don't have a good understanding of computers, because with any beta product, problems can arise, and when they do you're on your own (no support).

No, the pull-down menu is still there. It's the same problem you've had before. You have some kind of software that is blocking all the extra support files that need to load, like stylesheets, javascript files, etc. It's the same thing that makes your front page look like one long list of text.

I'm not sure if you are installing something periodically or what, but this seems to happen on your PC fairly frequently. Any idea what you're installing or doing that keeps blocking files... [ More ]

I understand that it can be comfortable to read larger text sizes for some people. The thing is that on the Internet, big, bold, or upper-case text means you're saying something with extra emphasis, or SHOUTING.

You might want to check out the comic sans font, which can be a good middle-ground between readable text, without appearing to shout.

Whenever I first log on to Lottery Post and go directly to LottoVantage's, (my) blog, the posted images are missing and unviewable. If I then go to Forums, Pick 5 Specific Lottery Games, Ohio Pick 5 Number Strategy, I can then view the images posted there, (on page 5), and everything is normal.

Following this procedure, if I then return to LottoVantages, (my) blog, then the posted images there are viewable!

every time I log in, the same as clairvoyance I get Page not found . I click on the logo but when I log off, I get the same thing, and then I have to do the same thing over again when I log back in. The last few days after I sign in I get A page not found error? Then it said to click the back button and when I do that I get the same error. I think the exact message is Sorry the page has been removed or not found, something to that nature. I can get back to lottery post home page though by clicking the home button.

The Help forum has topics to find help on these kinds of things. Check to make sure cookies and javascript are both enabled, and neither are being blocked by anything. That is ALMOST ALWAYS the problem. Even if you can't think of anything offhand that may be doing it, it normally ends up being the case, and it is discovered later. I also listed several tips in this thread.

Sounds like you have JavaScript disabled in your browser, or else you have some kind of firewall or anti-virus software that is blocking javascript. Try posting with Firefox, and if it works you know that it is something that you have configured incorrectly in IE. If it doesn't fix the problem, it is probably a firewall/anti-virus config problem.

I got the same problem as bellyache. When trying to post a new topic I get exactly the same results as bellyache. There is no message field. I am using Opera 8.54 with scripting on.

I did as sugggested in this thread and deleted the cache and all cookies belonging to Lotterypost but stil get the same result.

Todd I finally got it working! Heh. I went through my browser and such and still couldn't figure out why my message wasn't showing up so then I went to my control panel (on LP) and went to board settings. I clicked on Use the rich text editor and saved. I guess before the you made the changes I didn't need to use it and after the changes I did. Strange. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to help me figure out why it wasn't allowing me to start new topics.

The other thing that could be blocked (or is being cached) is CSS files (cascading style sheets). I constantly update those with new files, so maybe you're still using an old one.

My guess is that you are blocking JavaScript or cookies or something. Try disabling your firewall (or whatever you use), and see if that helps. If it helps, you know that it needs to be configured correctly - namely to not block anything at lotterypost.com.
