Powerball does have the bigger chance of rolling longer than Mega Millions, but of course, Powerball's rolls aren't as big as Mega Millions' are.

I have a feeling PB will go farther than MM on this run. I have given up on MM getting to 300 so if it can hit the 250M mark I'll get tickets.

Interesting fact Prob988 that MM's cash value start higher than PB. When PB jackpot usually wins, they will take the cash value and lower starting cash value.

The cash value of the Megamillions jackpot is $6.7M and is advertised at $12M. Although the advertised value of the reset PB jackpot is higher, the cash value is slightly lower, $6.6M.

Because the odds of winning the Powerball are higher than the odds of winning the MM, the Powerball is still a better bet.
