if it was computer drawn then i would say the conspiracy theory is very valid.however it is ball drawn and that is pretty much tamper proof compared to computer draws.i'm not saying itsn't possible with balls but its a long shot.....

What is a professional conspiracy theorist?.......it is a figment of my wild imagination.

Why by tickets if I believe it is a scam?..........Carrots are healthy for you. i like carrots and I am hoping I may cath one.

Why would states participate ina scam that gives money to winners in another state?....ahem, what goes around comes around. You wash my back, I wash yours.

As you can tell I don't take things seriously.

There is no conspiracy. The balls that are drawn are just balls and they don't look at the size of the jackpot or who buys the tickets. If someone picks the right numbers they win. If no one picks the right numbers the jackpot goes up.

Being the professional conspiracy theorist that I am that was the first thought that crossed my mind. This happens too often to be a coincidence. I tell you...they can select a winner whenever they feel like it. When both PB and MM run together, it creates a competitive hysteria among the public....whaooo MM $220Mil PB $240Mil......whoaaaa....who is gonna hit it? This creates more betting frenzy! More money into the pot, and thus more commissions for the lotto personnel for meeting or exceeding

Since both games have similar formats and odds, it not surprising that when their cash values are similar and the number of tickets sold are similar at the same time, they both have a winner about the same time. The games will probably stay in sync until one has a surprisingly short or long run before having a winner, but they both will continue to have winners mostly when their cash values are $50M-$60M.

Is it me or does anyone else find it rather strange that the Power Ball and Mega Millions always grow together and once someone wins either one - the following drawing someone else wins the other...
