I think it's risky to play a lottery group this way, especially with a group of strangers. I also agree with RJOh that an agreement made this way probably wouldn't be legally binding.

I plan to spend $10, but I'm not a team player. The jackpot is $12M if invested in an annuity but the cash value is about $6.5M which leave about $4M after the state and federal taxes are paid. I'm not willing to share that if I'm lucky enough to win. Good luck to you.

Note: I doubt if an agreement made in such a way would be legally binding.

I am playing 71 lottery numbers for tonights Mega Millions Drawing, and am completely willing to split any money I win with other players who wish to join my team for tonights drawing. All you have to do is agree to split the jackpot with me if you win, and publish the numbers you are playing online before tonights drawing. I don't care how many numbers you are playing, but if I only win a prize of $150 or under I'm going to keep it to at least get some return on my investment.
