Five dollars for a dream-that is my maximum for playing a lottery, but the jackpot gotta be high-if its an insane amount i'll spend another 5 dollars--another words i don't get crazy on the lottery. i hope one of lotterypost members gets lucky on the next large jackpot (mega or powerball

I play primarily the jackpot games. I don't buy that many tickets and I skip it unless the pot is higher, so I'm not spending that much money. So even if I'm losing repeatedly, I just consider it the cost of entertainment, a chance to dream a little.

Now just how long will it be before I'll feel it is worthwhile to get back in the MM game again

im in for the big win. if i won something back while waiting it just makes my tickets a little cheaper. i aint a big spender and now , well for few years ive been soing a syndicate and spreading the cost between 5 people.

we hardly ever win enough to pay the next 10 weeks worth of entries, but sometimes we win half that.

I never really thought much about it. I'm not playing with scared money . so like a pack of cigs, a 12 pack of beer, an occasional movie rental, dinner at a restaurant, playing is just one more form of entertainment for me.

I haven't won anything from Powerball since last November, but I still keep playing, but only one ticket per draw regardless of jackpot size because it takes only one to win. Why spend $2 on the same dream you can have for just $1? However, I now play the same quick pick for three draws at a time.

I've been tempted but never stopped is my vote. I'm still waiting for WB 6 and Mega 6 occur in CA SLP. If I win a jackpot in CA SLP or MM, I'll stop for good.

My Ex-Husband, the Math Whiz, used to rag on me all the time for playing. I am not stupid. I realize the odds. But someone's got to win, and it could be me as well as the person down the road. It's a dream. We all need dreams. His was to sell the house and all our possessions and go around the world on a sailboat. I didn't like his dream any better than he liked mine! LOL

That's the draw of lotto - a buck lost isn't going to change your life but a winner certainly would.

I worked in casinos and saw hundreds of people hit royal flushes on video poker - amd not one of them ever retired by doing so

There have been times when I wanted to just quit playing, and I have for short periods of times. But eventually I end up playing again. I figure putting a few dollars down for a drawing is worth the dream of winning something big.

I'm talking losers, no 2 of 5 or 3 of 6, no payouts whatsoever.
