I think I have it working now. I played with the formatting of cells and it seems to be giving me what I want.

Thank you both for the info I will look it up.

SirMetro, I tried your suggestion and when I do that the cell on the second page says =sheet1!A31 which is the cell I want to connect to on the first page but does not fill in the info from the first sheet. it just displays the link that I made. =sheet1!A31 .

Does it matter that the cell I am connecting to has a formula in it? It's not just text.

The simple answer is this,

on the Second page where you want the data to appear, Select the desired CELL

Then press the = (equal sign)

Next, select the Tab of the first sheet that has the data. Then simply select the data.

Finally, either press the ENTER key or click the Check mark to indicate you are complete.

One really cool note, the Display page can format and size the text differently then the original sheet, allowing you to add emphasis as you need it.

Use Google and Type in :Excel formulas- what you are seeking to do based upon your post is to link the two pages with the information from the original sheet. You'll need to create a formula from the first sheet . One site that may be of interest is: http://www.ozgrid.com/Excel/

Keep in mind that the version of excel will also play apart in how to configure your sheets.

Howdy All,

First, let me say, I am totally lost when it comes to working with Excel but I am trying. Anyway, the question is, I have some info on page one of a workout I am trying to come up with and I want the same info to be sent to page two of the worksheet but in a different area. How do I get the same info to automatically go where I want it on page two once I have entered it on page one?
