Good point Todd....it also amazes me how people they really believe they've won a lottery they didn''t even but a ticket for, or have won a sweepstakes they didn't enter.

There are so many variations of those scams, it's impossible to track them all.

You know what this all means? The number of incredibly gullible people out there is staggering.

It seems as though because of the Chase Manhattan error, these checks should not even make it into anyone's bank account. Banks should be aware of this bit of bank trivia.
