Well some of that depends on what the euro, pound and dollar are worth. Tickets are 2 euros or 1.5 pounds.

I just find it odd that the participating countries were quick to put a jackpot cap in place but a long roll of jackpots never getting higher than the starting point just gets silence.

Don't Euromillions tickets cost $2.50 per play though? That sort of counterbalances its relatively easy odds per play.

Another big reason is that Euro Millions is available to over 207 million people among it's members. Compare that to Mega Millions, which has 149 million people in it's member states. Add that with relatively easy odds, and you got a lot of winners.

I think Euromillions should play like 5+1, not 5+2 in a matrix change. However, the odds of winning the jackpot should be greater than the current population participating in Euromillions. I would suggest 5/55+1/45.

Ok I see. Strange. I wonder why they don't just let it roll. Are they afraid of the jackpot getting to big. I would think bigger jackpots would mean more people would play.

There is a limit on the number of rolls a Euromillions pot can have. Currently it's 12. Problem is that lately it doesn't rollover at all. Considering the odds are only 76 million to one it might be time for a matrix change. On the 12th rollover if no one wins then the prize is split to the second place winners.

Wondering if anyone else noticed the number of one hit wonders Euromillions is getting lately. When the pot grew to an unexpected high the participating countries were quick to place limits on how high it can go. I'm sure they are in no hurry now that the jackpot never even goes higher than the initial level.
