If Florida's next governor allows PB, I'm guessing it will join in 2007. I'm sure the Florida Lottery can't wait any longer to join.

It will reach $100,000,000 again. I have a feeling it will be a while before Florida joins Powerball, so that will give it plenty of time.

You're so right. I've always thought the best thing for Lotto to do should the payout actually increase to 60% is use the money to keep the payouts the same while free tickets are given away for 2/6. Naturally, if they just add a free ticket prize and keep the payout the same, there will be more winners in each category even though the amount of money going to it hasn't changed. That means lower payouts.

Florida Lotto should add a couple balls to the game. It should remain a classic lotto game however, perhaps introducing a 2/6 prize like in Massachusetts Ca$h WinFall.

My vote is no CASH Only. Although, the jackpot reached 82+ million this year, I think it won't compete against MM and PB. I think they need to have a 5+1 format to reach 100+ million.

Florida Lotto remains a classic six-number game, and still doesn't compete against either Mega Millions or Powerball within Florida. It has gone over $100 million.
