Other. If it was more than 100 million I'l short sell XOM, GOOG, GM, for about 90 mil or bought short contract for DOW. 5 milloin left in 10 year bonds, 100 k in bank account

I said pay off my bills and debts. Of course all of the above apply also, but I wouldn't want any hounds looking for me. If they have no legitimate reason, I see nothing to worry about. I can play after I take care of my business.

Despite the obligation to free up the job, quite a few PB/MM jackpot winners have not quit their jobs.

I'm already retired, have no bills other than a small amount left on my mortgage, I've had an unpublished phone number for years so I doubt I need to change mine, and I'm perfectly happy in my current home. So I can eliminate those options. I guess I'd have to say put it in the bank first, as a substantial amount would have to be in my checking account before I could write checks to relatives and charities. I would pay of my student loans and medical bills and I would pay my mothers bills off. I would also invest my money and put it in savings.

I've always wondered about those who say they'd start a business of they won a big jackpot. When you're in business you're married to it and give it a lot of time.

Also, those who say they'd keep working at their job - if a regular working slob hits a jackpot I think they'd be obligated to free the job up for someone who really needs it.

1st I'd pay off my student loans my car payments. I'd also pay off my parents debts/loans. Then throw 90% of the remaining money into a Swiss Bank Account keep the remaining 10% out to buy a new home, travel.
