I used to take a weekly trip to the Texas border to get in on the Texas Lotto game. I think I spent about $1,000.00 doing that for about 8 months.

Then, I moved on to other interests not lottery related.

When Oklahoma started the Pick 3 game here last year, my interest in the lottery was reborn.

I've been playing off and on for 20 years. Seriously, for about the last 5. Hit tons of pick 3's straight and boxed. Sometimes, good little pots at times, but I have never hit the pick 4 straight. I've hit it boxed so many times I've lost count, but never straight. I've even had 4 out of 5 on showme 5 a few times.

As for me..I have been playing for around 10 years or so. In 2000, between a 5 month period..I had hit the little lotto jackpot twice. I remember it was in the spring and the world was looking good then. That's when jackpots were only 200k. Then the morons changed the game to 5/39. From 5/30. Not so long ago. I only play Powerball and/or Megamillions and only when the pot reaches $100M or more. I know the chances of winning are so miniscule, why am I playing?

I've been playing the lottery for about 30 years, starting in MA NH and regularly in FL for over 10. NH had the first lottery I can remember (we called it the NH Sweepstakes) and then MA had a Wed night drawing. It cost 50 cents for a lottery ticket then and they called it The Game. My friend's Mom was one of the first winners in 1972. She won $50,000.

Mega Millions in MA 25 years ago? I remember MegaBucks in the early 1980s. It started out as a 6/30 game with a minimum $400,000 jackpot.... [ More ]

I've been playing the lottery for about 10yrs or so (on a regular basis- when the jackpot was high), before that it was once in a blue moon- I was under the age of 18 at the time so all I really did was scratch off's. My parents or my grandparents would get the scratch off's- I had fun....it was the simple things in life at that time.

i have proof of winnings for the last five (5) years

average 10000 dlls per year but ... this winnings are from the local; indian casino near los angeles/ have all the slips signed all i played slots the 5 dlls machine this are winnings net profits

and only once in s lotto 4/ and a mega for1300 dlls

I've been a regular player of the mega millions for 25 years, first when it was introduced in MA only, and of course when it became multi state. To answer your question, I have not won a jackpot. However, I enjoy the dream of winnning big.

What an interesting response. Well, at least you are winning some money. I think if I added up all that I have probably played over the years, I would have won maybe $3000, but spent twice that or more.

2 and a half years.in january 2004 when i heard that tennessee was about to get a lottery i had never played before.i did a crash course on all the lotteries and games and how they worked.in july 2004 i played 486 ten times straight and won 5 grand.a couple months later i finally stumbled onto this site.been here since october of 2004.so you could say that 2004 was the year i started on the lottery.i've won over twenty grand all together and about half was pick 3 and half was pick 4 winnings.i d...
