In one respect it would be easier for PB to add Mexico instead of Canada. South of the border, all the info would be in Spanish. North, it would have to be bilingual.

Ryanm,

The Virgin Islands is not included on the list, because I listed all the Power Ball States and it is not a State.

Powerball could market to the 13 MegaMillion States, and get them to switch from offering MegaMillions to offering Powerball instead.

Either way their are still 9 States that don't offer MegaMillions or Powerball.

Not to mention that their are other Entities that could be marketed to to offer Powerball, such as the one you already mentioned (Puerto Rico).

Raven, you left out the Virgin Islands, and since 12 states are taken by Mega Millions, Powerball has only 10 states to expand to (if Puerto Rico counts as a state).

The basis of this poll is kind of strange, specifically the part that states, Powerball is running out of states to expand within the US .

I didn't realize that Powerball was like communism -- that it has to keep expanding. I guess once every state and country has been assimilated into Powerball they'll have to start leading the search for life on other planets, so they can continue expanding.

I'm not sure, but my vote is yes. Since they already have US Virgin Islands playing PB, I wouldn't be surprised if PB expanded to Canada too, but probably when there's a matrix change in 2011.

With or without Florida, Powerball is running out of states to expand within the US. Do you see PB adding Canadian lotteries, making PB similar to Euro Millions
